Counselling Service
Counselling is an umbrella term that covers a range of talking therapies. It is delivered by qualified and experienced practitioners specialising in family breakdown, domestic abuse and working with children. We support individuals over a short term to help them bring about effective change and/or enhance their wellbeing.
We offer one to one sessions for parents, young people and children, with each session lasting around 40 to 50 minutes, and they take place on a weekly basis. Parents can access up to 8 sessions each, and children usually have 6 – 8 sessions. The sessions allow clients to establish a trusting relationship with the counsellor, providing a safe space to explore their concerns.
